Everyone deserves a day out. Our one-day tours give NDIS participants the chance to get across South East Queensland with a support worker who handles the planning, the driving and the support — so the day is something to enjoy rather than something to organise.
Tours suit people who want more independence, a break from routine, something new, or simply fresh air and a change of scene. Accessible options are available on request — tell us what you need when we talk and we will say plainly what we can and cannot do.

How does a day tour work?
- A free chat about where you would like to go, what interests you and what support you need.
- We plan it — route, rest stops, facilities, meals and timing, built around you rather than a schedule.
- Your support worker collects you from home and supports you through the day.
- We drop you home and send a short summary of the outing to you or your support coordinator.
Can you use NDIS funding for a day tour?
Support worker time on a day tour can be funded through Core supports, under Assistance with Social and Community Participation. What the NDIS does not cover is the ordinary cost of the day — entry tickets, food and personal spending are paid by the participant, as with any community activity.
We give you a written quote before every tour so there are no surprises. Our guide to NDIS funded activities explains the distinction between the support and the activity in more detail.
Can a group book a tour?
Yes. Group day trips work well for SIL houses and groups of friends, and group rates mean the cost per person is considerably lower than a one-to-one outing. Our community access page covers how we plan activities for groups.
