Helensvale is where our group programs actually run. Our NDIS healthy cooking course and our kids school holiday workshops are delivered from the teaching kitchen at Helensvale Library & Cultural Centre, and our support workers, cleaners and day tours cover the surrounding suburbs from there. Our baking course ran here for its first three intakes and has moved south to Palm Beach from November 2026, so that both ten-week courses can run on the same Saturday morning.
Where we run sessions in Helensvale
Helensvale Library & Cultural Centre, on the corner of Lindfield Road and Sir John Overall Drive. Sessions run in the teaching kitchen, which is on one level with parking directly outside.
Practical things worth knowing before a first visit:
- Parking is close to the door, not across a car park
- The room and the toilets are on the same level — no stairs between them
- Benches are at standing height, and we can seat anybody who needs to work sitting down
- There is space to step out of the room without leaving the building
- It is a quiet building on a weekday, which matters for participants who find noise difficult
If you would like to see the room before committing to anything, call and we will arrange it. Our guide to what a session actually looks like walks through one start to finish.
Which programs run at Helensvale?
- The 10-week NDIS healthy cooking course — Saturdays, 10:00am to 1:00pm from 14 November 2026, five participants per class, claimed through your plan.
- Kids school holiday baking workshops — currently the Christmas holidays, with classes across 14–18 December and 18–22 January. Ages 4 to 14, no NDIS plan needed.
Our baking course now runs at Palm Beach Community Centre, also on Saturday mornings. If Helensvale is the easier trip for you, the cooking course is the one that runs here.
